How to Export
- Finish editing your screenshot
- Click Export or press
⌘ + E - Choose your format and quality settings
- Select the save location
Quality Settings
- PNG: Always lossless — no quality adjustment needed
- JPEG: Slide the quality bar to balance file size vs. image clarity
- 100% — Near-lossless, larger file
- 80% — Recommended for most uses
- 60% — Smaller file, suitable for web
Batch Processing
Pro feature
Process multiple screenshots at once — apply the same theme, annotations, and export settings to a batch of images.
How to use:
- Open Snappix and drag multiple images into the editor
- Configure your theme and export settings
- Click Batch Export
- All images are processed with your settings and saved to the chosen folder
Ideal for:
- Creating consistent social media image sets
- Processing multiple documentation screenshots
- Applying watermarks to a collection of images
Clipboard Integration
Snappix integrates deeply with the macOS clipboard:
- Copy after capture — Screenshots are automatically copied to clipboard
- Paste to edit — Paste any image from clipboard into Snappix for editing
- Copy annotations — Copy annotated screenshots back to clipboard
File Naming
Exported files use a smart naming convention:
Snappix_2026-02-10_22-30-15.pngFormat: Snappix_[date]_[time].[extension]
You can customize the naming pattern in Preferences → Export.
