Capture your entire Chromebook screen instantly.
Select and capture a specific area of your screen.
Capture a specific window or app.
Find the Show Windows key (looks like a rectangle with two lines) on the top row of your Chromebook keyboard, usually above the 5 or 6 key.
Decide if you want a full screen (Ctrl + Show Windows), partial (Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows), or window capture (Ctrl + Alt + Show Windows).
Press your chosen keyboard combination. For partial screenshots, drag to select the area you want to capture.
Screenshots are saved to your Downloads folder by default. A notification appears showing a thumbnail of your capture.
Click the notification to open the screenshot in the built-in editor, or use the Files app to share or upload.
