Editing & Beautification

Annotations, themes, backdrops, watermarks, and the full Snappix editor toolkit.

After capturing a screenshot, the Snappix editor gives you a complete toolkit to annotate and beautify your images.

Annotation Tools

Text

Add text labels anywhere on your screenshot. Customize font, size, color, and background.

Shapes

Draw rectangles, circles, and rounded rectangles. Use filled or outline styles with adjustable colors and border width.

Arrows & Lines

Point out specific elements with arrows and lines. Adjust thickness, color, and arrow head style.

Blur & Redact

Protect sensitive information:

  • Manual blur — Drag over areas to apply pixelated or gaussian blur
  • Auto-Redact — Snappix automatically detects and blurs emails, phone numbers, and addresses

Numbered Steps

Add numbered markers (①②③) to create step-by-step tutorials. Numbers auto-increment as you place them.

Theme System

Themes let you transform a plain screenshot into a professional visual asset with one click.

Preset Themes

Browse the built-in theme gallery with live preview. Each theme includes coordinated backdrop colors, corner radius, shadow, and padding settings.

Custom Themes

Create your own themes by adjusting:

SettingOptions
BackdropSolid color, gradient, or transparent
PaddingDynamic padding around the screenshot
Corner RadiusRounded corners for a modern look
ShadowDrop shadow with adjustable blur and offset

Save & Reuse

Save your custom editor styles as reusable themes. Your settings are automatically persisted and restored between sessions.

Backdrop Options

The backdrop picker offers rich customization:

  • Solid colors — Pick any color from the palette
  • Gradients — Linear and radial gradients with multiple color stops
  • Dynamic padding — Adjust spacing around the screenshot
  • Device mockups — Place your screenshot inside a MacBook, iPhone, or browser frame
